Training
Part of the ministry emphasis for The Praxis Center is to help pastors and leaders develop practical skills for life and ministry around a biblical framework and world-view. We like to say that we are, by God’s grace, rediscovering the truth of the New Testament scriptures, seeing both the “why” and the “how” of Christian living and ministry. Various kinds of learning experiences have been crafted by The Praxis Center team to facilitate pastors and leaders discovering these things for themselves.
Development for the Whole Person
A key element of our training is to help people understand who they are in Christ; their identity as sons & daughters of God, as well as the development of the capacity of the heart, and their role as servants and to discover their destiny, the place of stewardship given to them by God in His Kingdom work.
Better sons & daughters are better servants of Christ and His people, and therefore can make their fullest contribution to the Kingdom work. Building from the life and teachings of Jesus, we seek to walk alongside people, helping them live out the Great Commandments (Matthew 22:34-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
Holistic Development for the Church
For churches, we think that leadership development, congregational health and development ultimately leads to spiritual multiplication – more disciples, leaders and churches. The foundation of Christ and His grace expressed in His leaders (Ephesians 2:18-22) seeing His body built up, matured (Ephesians 4:1-16) and multiplied (Acts 13:1-3).
Take some time and look at the various training dynamics and environments offered, and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
