Praxis can resources your denomination, region, district or church network. Here’s what we can bring to you:

Training the Trainers

  • Church Planter Assessor Training

1 1/2 day training event on how to do church planting behavioral assessments, how to implement an assessment process in your movement and how to facilitate assessment centers. Utilizes Dr. Charles Ridley’s 13 key competency approach.

  • Church Planter Coach Training

A one day seminar for developing church planter coached, based on Dr. Bob Logan’s “5 R” model for coaching. This is a proven tool for simple, effective and fruitful coaching of church planters.

  • Intensive Church Planter Training (ICPT) – Event Facilitator Training

A 1 1/2 day training event on how to facilitate an ICPT training intensive for church planters. Utilizes resources already available on the CoachNet: C2M2 Online Network. Field test and proven by several major denominations. Organized around the planter working through 5 questions:

    1. Who am I? (Personal and corporate values)
    2. What am I called to do? (Vision & mission)
    3. Who will do it with me? (Team)
    4. How will we do it? (Implementation planning)
    5. How will we evaluate our progress? (Personal and corporate evaluation)

Very interactive – designed to facilitate adult learning and church planting in a post-modern context.

  • Establishing Church Planter Learning Communities

Networking planters and coaches in learning communities for ongoing development, nurture and support is essential to seeing church multiplication emerge. One day workshop explains the “why” and “how” of establishing church planter networks. The focus is on developing the planter spiritually and in ministry competencies.

  • Establishing Parent Church Learning Communities

Connecting “parents-to-be” those establishing a new church out of their congregation or interesting in doing so is a huge leap forward in facilitating church multiplication. One day workshop focuses on the key organizing principles of such learning communities, helping the parent church survive and thrive while launching a new church.

Direct Ministry Support for Church Multiplication

  • Church Planter Assessment

Before investing time, training and treasure into a planting candidate, make sure you have the right person for the job.  We can assess your planters for church planting competencies.

  • Church Planter Coaching

Coaching is half the battle in establishing a new church. The planter might want to spend $5,000.00 on a kicking sound system for the worship celebration, but why not invest a few bucks a month in coaching for the planter so there is someone in the seats to hear the music? We coach planters from across the spectrum of the Body of Christ.

  • Intensive Church Planter Training (ICPT)

Not ready to train your own planters just yet? Let us do it for you! (And show you how while we do it.) This is a four day intensive training for church planters, their teams and their coaches. For 10-100 people.

  • Consultation and Coaching for Strategic Multiplication

Let us walk you through the process of implementing your own church multiplication movement. We provide consultation and evaluation for denomination and church networks, as well as executive coaching for church multiplication leaders.

We have lots of experience across the board in church multiplication: we’re planters, parent church planters, coaches, network leaders, trainers and former church multiplication leaders within denominational structures. We have worked with diverse ethnic populations, in rural areas, suburbs and the inner city. The Lord has formed us to serve and be a resource – for you!

To further discuss your specific needs and how we can serve you just email Tom Johnston, our Executive Director.
